That was too much work...here you go:

"...The many forums on Archive.org cover so much ground. And there are some outstanding and thoughtful writers who really know their stuff (there are also a lot of haters and people with shockingly closed minds and argument styles right out of the Limbaugh book. These are the Deadheads that are all about the Sheep Mentality and wouldn't be able to think for themselves if their lives depended on it. Really? Give us a reason why Donna sucks other than that she is a woman? Hey wait, are those racist or homophobic tones behind some of those reactionary diatribes? I mean, at least I could give a few educated reasons why Pig Pen and Brent bore me most of the time. They're bluesy and a bit simplistic and I just think Jerry and Phil wanted the new and the weird to rule the day. But I could also give you many things I love about them)."

Talking about me? Hmmm...

All about the Sheep Mentality? Someone's been reading Rob's stuff.

As for Donna sucking, it has nothing to do with her sex. It does, however, have everything to do with her occasional bouts of atonal cat mauling. Hey, I realize that alot of her harmonic issues were the result of being unable to hear herself standing in front of the Wall with no monitors, but still, is that an excuse to do horrible things to that cat?

There is definitely no agenda, name calling or seeing others who may not agree with you in the worst possible light. The writer is pure. (No, not you WT. Well, maybe just the good parts. ;-)

Ahh, the Micheal Jackson pic. Is the writer channeling his desire for a thirteen-some sleep over at Never Never Land? Homoerotic/ phobic /erotic /phobic? Depends who you like I guess. Sorry, but I thought the writer was a pompous ass.

I agree with you Micah! I did enjoy the dark star stuff but the other stuff was him being an ass but wtf it ain't my blog, but I don't get the rant about some posters being women- haters and homophobics and then posting that pic of Michael Jackson! A little hypocritical maybe!

I guess Willie would be a purveyor of 'reactionary diatribes'. I direct you to 4:35 to 5:55. Incroyable!

Tenuous GD connection- One of the musicians' brother played w/ GD several times.

Well, it didn't bother me ... I liked his writing.

Though I must say I'm particularly intrigued by the image of Pig-bashing sheep. I'd like more opportunities to use that phrase, but am sadly unable to think of anyone here who bashes Pig regularly,* let alone a flock of Pig bashers. Donnaphobes, sure, but they're not misogynists as much as howlogynists.

* Perhaps due to the comparative lack of GD conversation. We might manage a flock of McClellan bashers. Or Burnside.

Yeah, I didn't take it too seriously; you wonder, did the writer form that opinion from a 30 min scan of our board? A weeks worth of scans? A yr with periodic "check ins"?

Maybe one could sum this place up in 5 min worth of reading...dunno.

It would actually be really interesting to know what folks DO think of our activity hereabouts...ie, those that periodically look in, form an opinion, what have you...and whether they are consistent in that regard.

Makes you think folks actually are taking notes.

Maybe I should get out of my jamy-jams? The Michael Jackson sleepers, ya know?

I really thought that from time to time. I could not believe the memory retention by some of the forumites.

Now, I just think my memory percentile is making up the other side of the bell curve. When I first come here I thought I had that swing, but here it don't mean a thing. Way too many are quicker on the draw, and someone has to hang out on the left side of the curve.

I agree. No, disagree.

Wait, what was it that you were saying?
